Learning From My Gambling Errors
First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been wagering on the internet or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are broke. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to be aware of your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the harder you try the faster you are deprived.
When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this logic hardly ever works. Say you are playing on slot games, have an amount set aside prior to beginning your play. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate cup. Don’t use your successes no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the web or at a physical betting house, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be a different day, another time.
Remember, betting is assumed to be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the loss, don’t even start.
